The whole policy, in plain words

Privacy Promise

A book about verifying claims should not have a privacy policy that needs a lawyer to read. Here is ours.

This website

This site uses no cookies and no trackers. It does not record who you are, what you read, or how long you stayed. The checkboxes you tap on the Preview page are kept in your browser’s memory for that visit only — nothing is sent anywhere, and closing the page erases them. Even the fonts are served from this site itself, so no outside company is told that you visited.

Your email address

If you choose to give us your email address, here is exactly what we will do with it — and everything we will not:

We will write to you about four times a year: around Christmas buying time, around Easter, and up to two more times for new book announcements, merchandise offers, and updates. Never more than that.

We will never share, sell, rent, or trade your address with anyone, for any reason.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you are off the list, no questions asked.

If you never give us your address, nothing changes — the entire site, including the full Prelude Preview, is open to you either way.

When you buy the book

Book purchases happen on Amazon, under Amazon’s own terms and privacy practices. We do not receive your payment information — ever.

If this ever changes

If this site someday adds features that require cookies — for example, a store or reader accounts — this page will say so plainly before they are switched on, and you will be asked first, not told afterward.

Assumption Is Not Confirmation — including about what websites do with your information. That is why this page exists.
